| 4. * | يوم يكون الناس كالفراش المبثوث | ywm ykwn alnas kalfra$ almbxwx | A day/time the people be/become like the butterflies, the scattered/ravished | That is the day when the people come out like swarms of butterflies. | (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, | ||||
| 5. * | وتكون الجبال كالعهن المنفوش | wtkwn aljbal kal`hn almnfw$ | And the mountains be/become like the wool/dyed wool, the carded (ruffled). | The mountains will be like fluffy wool. | And the mountains will be like carded wool. | ||||
| 6. * | فاما من ثقلت موازينه | fama mn xqlt mwazynh | So as for who his weights became heavy. | As for him whose weights are heavy. | Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, | ||||
| 7. * | فهو في عيشة راضية | fhw fy `y$+ raDy+ | So he is in (an) acceptable/approved life/quality of life. | He will lead a happy (eternal) life. | Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. | ||||
| 8. * | واما من خفت موازينه | wama mn Kft mwazynh | And but who his weights were reduced/lightened. | As for him whose weights are light. | But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- | ||||
| 9. * | فامه هاوية | famh hawy+ | So his origin (is) Hell/destruction. | His destiny is lowly. | Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. | ||||
| 10. * | وماادراك ماهيه | wmaadrak mahyh | And what made you know/informed you what it is (E)? | Do you know what it is? | And what will explain to thee what this is? | ||||
| 11. * | نار حامية | nar Hamy+ | (A) hot fire.476 | The blazing Hellfire. | (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! | ||||
